Aya Al-Samarai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Oslomet University in Norway, and a Master’s degree in Public Health and Lifestyle Change from Høgskolen i Innlandet. With experience gained from roles at the Norwegian Health Directorate in the Public Health sector and as a COVID Testing supervisor for school students in the Municipality of Oslo, my professional background encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities.
During my tenure, I have facilitated numerous educational sessions aimed at promoting healthy eating habits among school students. Additionally, I have engaged in online nutrition coaching, consultations, and training programmes to extend support beyond physical boundaries.
Recognising the challenges posed by modern lifestyles, I understand the time constraints faced by individuals, many of whom struggle to balance daily obligations with the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. This is particularly evident among pregnant women and new mothers who seek guidance and support to navigate the complexities of pregnancy and motherhood.
My approach involves providing personalised, evidence-based nutritional guidance tailored to each individual’s needs, whether they are in good health or managing illness. Central to my practice is a commitment to creating a safe and confidential space where clients can openly discuss their health concerns and personal circumstances. From enhancing psychological well-being to embracing dietary changes and adopting healthier habits, I assist clients in embarking on a journey towards improved health and wellness.
Moreover, I develop customised plans for healthy living suitable for all age groups, taking into consideration various environmental factors and individual circumstances. Through this holistic approach, I strive to empower individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes conducive to their overall well-being.
